Young Driver Car Insurance
If you are still learning to drive on a provisional licence or have held your full licence for less than three years, you will no doubt be aware that arranging suitable cover can be expensive. Aviva offers significant discounts to younger drivers on their policy range, which can reduce your premium.
Access to the Aviva young driver car insurance is unlocked by completing a driving assessment scheme called ‘Ignition’. Operated by Aviva, this one-hour course can help improve your driving skills and reduce your insurance premium. Furthermore, if you agree not to drive between the hours of 11pm and 6am, you can benefit from further reductions on your insurance costs.
Those drivers who are still learning can also benefit from up to six months free accompanied driver cover when they purchase lessons through Aviva’s driving school. Contact us for details should this interest you.
If you’d like to know more about the Ignition scheme and how you could avail of the discounts available on your policy, talk to one of our agents on 1890 30 20 20.
Aviva car insurance policies are available with comprehensive, third party, fire & theft or third party only cover.
The benefits of a comprehensive policy include unlimited windscreen cover when using the aligned repairer network, 24-hour breakdown rescue and accidental damage provision.
Discounts are available for hybrid cars, motorists who are arranging multi-car policies and for those who have over five years of ‘no claims’.
Standard policies with Aviva home insurance can be arranged to cover buildings only, contents only or a combination of the two.
Buildings cover includes protection of your property and any permanent fixtures, along with outbuildings, external fences and walls, fittings and interior decorations. As well as cover for damage from fire, storms and leaks, there are many other ways in which a policy will cover your home.
Offered on a ‘new for old’ basis, contents cover provides insurance against damage, theft or loss to your personal belongings. In most cases, Aviva will replace your items under your policy agreement.
Optional cover can be arranged for accidental damage, help in a home emergency or cover away from home. Legal cover and insurance for specialist or expensive single articles can also be arranged separately.
