Policies offered by Asgard are not directly available to the general public, they are available through specialist insurance brokers. Chill can offer Asgard policies for drivers aged between 17 to 25 at competitive rates.

An Extended Offer

Asgard car insurance can be taken out as fully comprehensive, third party fire & theft or third party only policies. The rates are competitive and the policy benefits from low excesses and remains one of the cheapest ways to cover your car if you are under the age of 25.

Asgard offers younger motorists a cheaper way to get their first car insurance policy and comes with the benefits of access to our specialist customer care centre, speedy claims resolution and customer rewards programme. This includes weekends away and discounts across some of Ireland’s best leisure facilities.

The policy underwritten by Asgard for younger drivers is restricted to social, domestic and pleasure use only and does not include commuting or commercial use. Typically, any excess for Accidental Damage Fire & Theft (ADF&T) will be much higher for younger drivers. Full details are contained in the policy documentation. Additional excesses are also applicable for anyone who’s driving under a provisional licence or has held a full licence for less than 12 months.

Where am I covered?

Use of the vehicle insured is restricted to the policyholder and any named drivers and the cover you arrange is limited to the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. If you intend to use your vehicle outside of these geographical boundaries, your cover will be limited to European compulsory cover.

Instant cover can be arranged hassle free by speaking directly to one of our team. We can arrange for your insurance to be paid by installments using the direct debit scheme so you can spread the cost of your car insurance (you do need to be 18 or over to avail of this).
