What better way to start the month of May than with a bank holiday Monday. We would hate to see anyone miss out on the biggest events across the country so we’ve compiled a list of our favourite events over the weekend. Our office have been slightly adjusted (see below), but not to worry as you can complete an online quote anytime on our website.

Punchestown Festival

Punchestown Festival has returned after a 2 year hiatus, as what they are calling ‘The Great Comeback. After kicking off on Tuesday the 26th, the festival will run until Saturday 30th April.

Ladies Day, Friday 29th, is the most popular day of the festival with The Bollinger Best Dressed Competition returning along with the Paddy Power Champions Hurdle taking place. If you’re gearing up to take home the best dressed award, smart casual and smarter is the advised dress code but always bring an extra layer is good weather can’t be promised in Ireland. There is cloakroom located on-site that guests can avail of if the sun decides to come out!

On Saturday, April 30th, the Ballymore Festival Family Day returns. While the enjoyment will certainly be enormous, this year's setup will be a little different.

There will be a mega funfair with free fun tokens, face painting, an interactive games area, music, and dancing, just like in the old days. This family zone is located near the racetrack, so the horses will be close by.

Cask Summer Sessions

Cask Summer Sessions will bring you two days of live music from a variety of bands and artists from all over Ireland this May Holiday weekend. This is one session you don't want to miss, with our freshly erected Outdoor Stage and our Indoor Live Venue for bands and late night DJs.

Outdoor Escape Game Dublin

This is your Eureka moment if you're seeking for a new and exciting way to spend time with your one and only, by participating in one of Dublin's romantic-themed open-air escape games.

The city route you'll take is full of fascinating and picturesque locations, fun puzzles and challenges, and love stories from the past and present.

The experience will play out as if you are one of the major actors in a movie, except you will be experiencing everything first-hand! There will be plenty of amusing dialogue, suspense, and surprising interactions.

The Lakeland Sessions

Cask Summer Sessions will bring you two days of live music from a variety of bands and artists from all over Ireland this May Holiday weekend. This is one session you don't want to miss, with our freshly erected Outdoor Stage and our Indoor Live Venue for bands and late night DJs.

The Academic, Gavin James, The Blizzards & More will be taking the stage in Mullingar for an evening of music that’s not to be missed.
