Role of Brokers Ireland

As a broker Chill are members of Brokers Ireland, the representative body for Insurance brokers throughout Ireland. They represents broker firms which provides employment for thousands of people around Ireland.

All member firms are regulated by the Central Bank and abide by strict regulations such as the Consumer Protection Code. Member firms are the primary distribution channel for general insurance in Ireland and provide independent service and choice to consumers in relation to life, pensions, investment, mortgage and general insurance products

All member offices and their staff embrace strict standards of conduct, professionalism and practice to ensure that high standards of service are delivered to all clients. All member firms have Professional Indemnity insurance. As well as the statutory protection from the Investor Compensation Company Ltd, all Irish Brokers' association members are bonded by the Brokers Ireland compensation fund.
