Chill Insurance (part of TRG Group) is currently on the lookout for a Customer Insight & Data Planning Manager to join our Team.

Translate behavioural segmentation into actionable insight and campaign strategies. Champion test-and-learn principles across marketing, ensuring hypotheses are grounded in behavioural insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop segment performance scorecards, incorporating engagement, conversion, and retention metrics.
  • Build and maintain behavioural journey maps identifying key drop-off and trigger points.
  • Produce test-and-learn roadmaps, ensuring results are statistically valid and actionable.
  • Deliver regular performance insights and strategic recommendations to inform CRM optimisation and proposition development.
  • Provide strategic oversight of data and marketing technology integrations to ensure segmentation and CRM systems are aligned and enable accurate targeting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with CRM and proposition teams to align communications with behavioural drivers.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Marketing Automation teams to identify and prioritise integration improvements.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as deemed appropriate.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • University degree in Marketing, Information Technology, PR, Business Studies/Management or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, LTV and churn metrics.
  • Proven ability to translate insight into hypotheses, test briefs and communications strategy.
  • Strong analytical capability — comfortable with SQL and data visualisation; able to brief and interpret more complex modelling work (Python/R familiarity desirable).
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Adobe, HubSpot) and understanding of automation workflows.
  • Excellent communicator — able to turn complex analysis into clear, actionable narratives and collaborate with technical teams to align data flows and reporting structures.
