Hibernian Aviva Health launch a new suite of unique maternity benefits

As part of our commitment to continuously enhancing our products, Hibernian Aviva Health launched a suite of unique maternity benefits this Mother’s Day. These benefits greatly enhance the excellent maternity benefits currently available and empower our members to take greater control of their health during this very important time in their lives. Hibernian Aviva Health conducted research among Irish women who had given birth in the past two years to secure a greater understanding of the unique needs of mums-to-be and their partners. As a result of this research, Hibernian Aviva Health is launching the following innovative benefits:

4D scanning - €55 towards 4D scans with Innervision Ultrasound and Ultrasound Dimensions
Breastfeeding consultant benefit - Up to €25 per session for up to 2 sessions with a qualified breastfeeding consultant.
Hibernian Aviva Health partner benefit of up to €50 per day for two days towards the cost of accommodation, travel or childcare while mum is in hospital.
Member discounts including 15% discount on Pregnancy store branded products and 25% off fertility testing products from MTC Healthcare.
Baby massage and cranial osteopathy on day-to-day plans

Additional Hospital Benefits

Overseas cover: If a surgical procedure that you need is not yet available in Ireland, or if you’d simply prefer to have it performed elsewhere, Hibernian Aviva Health will cover you for the same amount as they would in Ireland.
A&E Abroad: In the case of an accident or emergency abroad, Hibernian Aviva Health will cover your in patient costs up to €55,000 on Level 1 and up to €100,000 on Level 2-5.
Scan Cover: You are fully covered for your in patient scans – PET-CT, MRI and CT (including virtual colonoscopies).
Stress-related and Psychiatric Benefits: Hibernian Aviva Health will provide full cover for up to 180 days per year on all levels for hospital care. In addition, you will have 91 days in patient cover over 5 years for treatment of alcohol and substance abuse.
Convalescence Cover: Hibernian Aviva Health will give you between €26 and 75 per day for up to 16 days convalescence in over 400 registered convalescence homes.
Nurse-On-Call: When it’s not an emergency but you would like the reassurance of a professional opinion on the spot, you have access to Hibernian Aviva Health’s team of qualifies nurses 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Post Operative Home Help: For up to 3 days following a selected cardiac or special procedure Hibernian Aviva Health will provide you with a home help assistant so you can focus on your recovery. Asthma Care: In conjunction with Asthma Care Ireland, learn how to overcome rhinitis, wheezing, coughing and breathlessness naturally using the ButeykoClinic method and lifestyle guidelines. Hibernian Aviva Health will give you a contribution towards the cost of this.
